Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Manray is gone. Sniff. I only went the once, but it just seems so wrong for it to be *gone*. It was there this morning when I walked Toto, and now, it's just gone.

Gone.

It's the end of an era.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Deena, try putting some lotion on Kara's hands. My daughter has the same problem when fall and winter rolls around. The skin dries out and the feeling of the skin slithering against itself really upsets some kids.

I'm buried in genetics problems!

That's no way to refer to your friends and neighbors.

Hee. Yeah, it does sound almost as icky as it feels. I've got very dry skin and I keep hand cream in my purse at all times. Once you become aware of the feeling, it can darn near drive you nuts (or to tears, as the case may be.)

I'm getting the pig!

A big YAY for finishing of projects to Deena and also for Aimee's great new hair-do! Hoping that Ray comes through for La Tep and luck aimed toward Raq for the road trip.

My DH shaved his beard once after I'd gone to bed. I woke up and saw a stranger in the bedroom and screamed.

Too funny! In general, I'm not attracted to men with facial hair. There have been momentary exceptions but I usually end up getting squeamish when/if there's kissing involved. Well trimmed goatees aren't as bad as the overgrown mustache and beard, though.

I just won a $50 Amazon gift cert at work for a silly trivia game.

Woo hoo! You deserve it! And now for the important question... What'd ya use it on?

Someone save me! I'm buried in genetics problems!

What kind of saving, bug? Chat, literati, hot team of SWAT men?

Well-trimmed anything is of the good.

I object to moustache hairs poking me in the nose.

I'm getting the pig!

My father had this love-affair thing with his moustache. He'd let it grow real long and then twirl the ends with moustache wax. To me, he just resembled the villian (memfault on name) from the Dudley Do-Right cartoon. Yuck.

Well-trimmed anything is of the good.

This. If we have to tend to things, so should they!
