You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Unfortunately, there is not NY office. He's at the disaster recovery site which is leased from IBM until they move operations back to Metairie this weekend. The corporate offices are in Ft Lauderdale (temporarily, or so they are saying now) which I'm sure is very nice but not exactly secure from hurricanes.

The theory is that we will go wherever we decide to go and he will work remotely as long as they let him (which may be a while, they've had a guy working remotely from Chicago for 6 months or so already).

The moving will be okay, it's just working out the logistics of it that's a pain. Do I spend a buttload of money on getting me down there to pack stuff up? Are there movers available at all? We'll figure it out, but it's been such a bad six weeks I'm finding this kind of straw and camelback ish.

Kara is impressing me with thinking ahead to the consequences. No squishing because that will make a mess, so sensible.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Damn, -t, I'm so sorry about your house, and sadder now than ever that I missed meeting you at the last F2F when NOLA was truly your home. The universe owes you a good half-decade of no remarkable news at all (unless it's good. Bad news, or even value-neutral but merely remarkable news, completely forbidden, but the universe could, and bloody well ought to, come through with a chunk of the good).

I'm getting the pig!

What JZ said because she always seems to say what I'd like to say, if only I could type out my thoughts as well as she can.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Y'all are making me feel so much better.

At the risk of passing over the event horizon of mememe-ness and imploding - I haven't mentioned the worst part yet. I had another miscarriage last week.

Just had to get that out there because it's taking up 90% of my brain.

t catching up

-t! Oh, I'm very glad to see you.

I am Not It, for either of the dream options. However, this:

actually , I just remembered why we were doing laundry at Jilli's house. A vampire needed to borrow some of Pete's clothes.

made me laugh and laugh and laugh.

Oh, -t! {{{{{{{}}}}}}}} There are no words. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

I know that you and H were thinking of making a move to CA -- are you still thinking of joining us permanently out here?
