Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

'Touched'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A cup of candy corn has fewer calories than a cup of raisins.

That is a scary fact.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm safe. I hate them both.

I'm not a big fan of either, but confronted with the two, I'd likely grab the raisens to be "good".....now I know better!!!

Silence means security silence means approval

GF is now fine. It was an anxiety attack (which she has a history of). She has medication for it (taken as needed) but didn't want to take it since she had more adderall in her system than she's used to. Basically, she needed somebody (qualified) to assure her she'd be fine if she took it, because with anxiety comes paranoia. Once taken, she relaxed and got much better.

Good to hear she's OK.

Health anxiety: been there, done that, got quoted in the Seattle Times about it. Took about nine months of CBT to get over it. Still get attacks, but they're only a few times a year (vs. 1-2 a day before).

What is even happening?

Okay, but raisins have to be way better for you. They're loaded with fiber and I think are high in antioxidants. Candy Corn is people all sugars and dyes, or possibly all sugars, dyes, and wax.

Gris, glad your gf is ok.

Maidengurl, I had something to tell you, but I can't remember. Oh, it was probably about the red nightie. That's just fabulous.

When I have to go into the hospital, I take my bitch blanket. EVERYONE always comments on it - doctors, nurses, everyone. For those of you who may not remember, Aimee made it for me, and it's a quilt of fabulous Wizard of Oz fabric.

I must finish my paper that I'm turning in in class today and get my butt in the shower. I've got an hour and fifteen minutes; that's plenty of time.

Hey. New board.

Ow. What was a mild earache yesterday has become entire right side of my head in extreme pain whever I lie down. I've been following all my doctor's instructions about taking my allergy medicine and vitamins and inhaler and everything. I really wish this would just stop already.

Ouch. That sucks. Hope you get better soon.

I like both candy corn and raisins. In fact, a trail mix with candy corn, raisins, and cheerios/chex sounds really good right now. Instead, I think I'll just have raisin bran.

Ok. I'm nervous. It's my first day back at school after taking some time off to re-sanitize. It's also my first day back at work. It's going to be a very long day that includes my presentation on BitTorrent. I could use some encouragement of the "you can do this!" type.

Just talked to my dad. He was like, "Just get through the day. Don't let your perfectionism completely drain you." He's right. I hope I can do that.
