However, we made a dozen cinnamon rolls, had my parents over for gingerbread pancakes with pears and lemon butter, took Paul's grandmother to the Apple store to pick up a Mini (OMG, G5 20" ~~iBook~~ iMac LUST), and I'm curling up with the girl while Paul starts making the soup from the stock I made last night (when I also dried a couple of apples in prep for our future fruitcake).

Okay, I want to go to Plei's while I spend two days licking my wounds in my jammies. I'm an excellent baby wrangler from all accounts. Too bad it's far away.

Word's all, "Um, tau squared sigma isn't in my dictionary. Please don't ask me to suggest a replacement."

Word fails to be mathy. It's a feature.

Headache is icky (thanks for the temple rubbing) but mostly just annoying. I've spent more time home today (six hours currently) and mostly awake than I have in the last month. I don't actually know what to do with myself since I don't feel motivated to clean or anything. I guess I catch up on tv and unset my alarms.

Though really, my iBook lust tends towards the 12" models. They're so portable!

And can survive a nasty fall with just some case damage!

I love my 12" Powerbook, but I think until I stop being such a butterfingers, I should look to something less droppable as my fantasy machine.

You know, with a wireless keyboard, I think I could even replace the bedroom TV with that 20"...

My part of the SUPERGIANT work document is almost finished. I'm missing three subsections, but I should have them by mid-afternoon tomorrow.

My part (the appendicies) is now 286 pages long. The additional parts will send it over 300. Then I bundle up the PDF and head for Kinko's tomorrow night, and hope the final product is in my hands Thursday morning.

I hope, as long as I live, that I never have to deal with this clusterfuck project ever, ever again.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
