'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I need a Jeeves AND an Alfred.

Throw me in a Giles for good measure to sort out the library.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I'd much rather have Alfred

I'm getting the pig!

I haven't read the comics but Alfred always seemed so pushy in the Batman movies. I have a feeling I'd have to fire him.

And then there's that whole needing to be a billionaire to afford him...

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Yeah, but -- Bruce *needs* a mommy, frankly.

Silence means security silence means approval

Screw Alfred and Jeeves. Give me Q. He could give me a watch that will do the dishes -- and shoot poison darts.

And not Q from TNG, Q from Bond.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I want a Bunter.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Edamame for dinner is yummy and healthy.

Yes it is! That's what I had, too, vw!

Pictures from reunion,

You look hot in that dress. Very nice!

Oooh, mashed sweet potatoes!

They are very tasty. I had them with a Boca burger for supper earlier this week.

Never had them to miss, so I suspect this feeling I'm having is schadenfreude. If you had 'em long enough to miss them, you're one up on me.

Mine were perky until about 23/24 or so. Not so much since then.

I am exhausted. I worked about 6 hours yesterday and another 6 today. In between there, I cleaned house, did 2 loads of laundry, etc. And, I need to be back at work at the butt crack of dawn tomorrow. And why all this overtime (which I don't get paid for)?? Because the president of the company can't make up her freakin' mind.

Hey. New board.

I gotta say, I'm finding myself somewhat underwhelmed with the New York Public Library. Though their collection of Young Adult Fantasy seems more than adequate, I think it's odd that I've found two recent, very highly-rated nonfiction books on Judaism (yes, I'm single-minded when I get a research project) that they don't have, "Becoming a Jew" by Maurice Lamm and "Women and Jewish Law" by Rachel Biale.

I mean, this is New York City. 8 million people live here, a significant fraction of whom are Jewish or might someday want to be Jewish, or at least READ about it.

Luckily, both books are available at Columbia's library, but i won't have access to that forever. It seem silly to me that they don't have it at NYPL.

ION, my breasts have never been perky, and I'm sorry you have to work so much, ChiKat. Also, I don't want any sort of butler or manservant, really. I like doing things for myself.
