Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My mom has her masters in Health Plan Administration and she is a Kaiser retiree. She knows where the bodies are buried and where there is room for more. They are messing with the wrong woman, so I'm not TOOOOOO worried, beyond being the normal "my mom has kidney failure, a blood clot, is on serious blood thinners, and they screwed up her dialysis today" worried.

Hec - Macha's departure was not a surprise to me, lots of people were calling for his head over the last few weeks. I'd rather see Wash over Geren, but not sure if either are really the best choice as I think about it more.

Note to self - combining baseball and mom's health stuff kills the thread.

Lexine, I hope your mom hears something definitive soon. The not-knowing is so frustrating.

juliana, much counselor ~ma. My hubby and I did communication classes because, surprise!, being married is different than living together. They helped a lot.

Ugh. S and I have already hit some rough spots just living together, and we're not even married yet. We've talked about getting some counseling, but her insurance won't cover couples counseling (until we're married), and we can't afford anything else.

Which is actually the source of much of the rough stuff at the moment -- we're both very poor.

I'm willing to bet there's a number of place you could get counseling for free or based on income, Sean. They may be religious organizations, but they often offer secular counseling for those kinds of things.

Hmm.... Good advice, Sail. I'll keep that in mind.

Didn't mean to make you say "ugh", Sean. There are lots of places besides private counselors that offer fine group workshops. The Kaiser one here came highly recommended, and wasn't very expensive, even for non-members.

No, it's okay, Sparky. I'm just having a bit of an ugh day.
