Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

'Touched'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It didn't even occur to me that they were real stamps - how does that work?

See all that "noise" on the right side of the stamp? Digital encoding for optical scanners. Postal system scans the stamp to see if it's legit or not.

Supposedly, there's a similar thing with normal sticker stamps (a shiny coding, IIRC). The difference is that the shiny coding is read by a different kind of optical scanner.

Punishingly Intricate

Trust me, onesies and t-shirts for munchkins are on the list.

Weehoo!

My day is okay. I can't stop eating the rest of the huge bag of peanut butter M & Ms we got at the movie theatre on Saturday. I'm afraid that's not going to be good for my tummy shortly.

In better, but no less indulgent news, my best SF friend and I are talking about doing some luxury camping at this place when I come out in December. Hooray for vacation plans! I haven't had a real vacation all year.

Thrive to spite them

Jilli stamps are really cool!

Are those just regular stickers or are they bumpers stickers? Ohhh....maybe you could hava "My Kid is an Honor student @ Gothic Charm School" or something. I'd buy it.

Next time I buy stamps I'll buy Jilli stamps.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'll enjoy wearing it out places where I might see babygoths and being like "Yeah, I know her.'

I get really snarly about the expectation that bible knowledge is a prerequisite for a major political career.

I personally think that anyone who wants to understand America needs at least a passing knowledge of what's in the Bible. Doesn't matter if they believe any of it, but understanding what's in the book is essential to understanding part of why this country was founded, why freedom of religion was essential to the growth of this democratic republic, and why we've been so fucked up the last 125 years or so.

I think it's part of my top ten list of things I hate about America.

I'm guessing "no universal health coverage" is #1. It is on my list.
