Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That's fine. I know today was busy for you! Sleep well.

Beastie cat update (x-posty from my LJ):

The vet we saw this afternoon did another exam on him. Our regular vet also did an exam (we didn't get to see her when we went in because she was in surgery). Our regular vet thinks what she felt is muscle tissue, not a tumor. The most likely reason the muscle is noticeably thicker on one side than the other is probably because Dread Beastie's left hind leg is starting to get a bit weak (kinda to be expected at his Elder Statesman age of almost 15), so the right side of his pelvic muscles are probably over-compensating a bit. That's the theory, anyway.

Added to the Beast's daily meds routine: a dose of laxative squirted down his throat twice a day. Ahhh, my high-maintenance cat. But he's okay, and felt well enough to sit on my lap and look out the window on the car ride home.

(runs away to finally eat dinner)

Oh, Jilli, that's good to hear! Yay for Dread Beastie's firm muscles at 15. :)

That's fine. I know today was busy for you! Sleep well.

I'm going to insist on a rain check though. Night!

I am so glad to hear that the Beast cat is doing better. You must be just so relieved.
I just love SD. I miss the beaches, I miss all the unique neighborhoods, I miss the Mission district, I miss the Gaslight district.
Okay, now I do remember why I love it here. Especially the unique places, how every neighborhood is more than a little different. And the various waterfronts.

But I loathe the traffic. Nearly two hours from Vista to Point Loma... That ain't right.

Still, there's an onshore breeze and there's not really anything wrong with that.

Come visit....................

Honey, I've got to inject my cat twice daily. He's high maintenance. I'm so glad Beast is a once daily routine ( you get medium maintenance.) As much as I bitch, I schedule my life around shooting the cat. And, y'know... their cuddles and solace prove them worth it.

Oh, I would so love to. But, I'm coming to SF. You have to come up and meet us! Not just once, but TWICE! September and May. Come...come...come. (What else do I need to do? Tongue play, toys, what? Tell me!)

I am totally easy. When are you going up this month? I randomly get some pretty good last-minute fare offers emailed to me... I don't have any time off I can take thanks to my back being a petulant little drama queen, but it's a quick flight...

Thanks, Cass. It's nice to... be seen, really. I completely missed the SG-1-athon, because I've been mainlining the Multiverse 2005 ficathon (all about the -thons) offerings tonight. Anything for some distraction. Well, and there are some really good stories, too.

The twice-visiting-SF-this-year people are lucky. Not that I'm jealous. No, not at all. I totally am.

A bunch of us are arriving in SF on Sept. 29th and going home on Oct. 4th. If you can make it up for the weekend, I'm willing to bet there's at least one SF area resident who can take you in for a couple of days. We've been squeeing about it in F2F. There's also an lj set up for the trip. It's sf_trip_2005. Come play!
