Does anyone know if there's some new threat to gas production/transportation? I had to run an errand at lunch and I passed the place where I got gas the same time yesterday. Yesterday it was $2.89 and today it's $3.15. I'm trying to figure out what would cause such a huge jump, but none of the other gas stations I passed had jumped over night so now I'm wondering if they are just trying to see if they can get more because it's a home game tomorrow.

As I understand it, askye, it's mainly because it will be some time before the Gulf refineries are completely back in operation. We're supposed to have spot shortages and ever-increasing prices. I paid $3 yesterday and they're talking about $3.25 next week.

I'll have to fill up on my way home or tonight. I had to rush back to work and I only partially filled up yesterday. I have strict instructions to be at the theater by 6 pm for the 7:15 showing of Serenity. My friend EJ is just a tiny bit worried we'll get sucky seats.
