I'm very sorry if she tipped off anyone about your cunningly concealed herd of cows.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You both suck eggs.

move out and draw fire

All I have to add to the general work bitching is vicarious: DH's office finally got new office chairs yesterday. This was a major score, as there is never any money, but the chairs they had were very broken and old. So he had to stay late to take delivery of the...conference table chairs.

Yep, procurement bought them chairs with no rollers and no adjusters, the kind that go around conference tables, as desk chairs.

Also, his new boss is a goober. He's one of those Professional Submissives, whose head is tucked forward on his neck from so much deferential head-bobbing.

What do I do with her carseat once we are on the plane?

Several internet sites I've read recommend using the car seat on the plane, which befuddles me. I don't think there's enough room, for starters (at least for ours, which should've come with the warning that you would need to buy an SUV or minivan to go with it). And most people don't get a seat for the baby.

And, let's face it, planes don't really have fender benders.

Aww, man, I was really hoping that the "Baby Temporary Tattoos" was a temp tattoo of a fetus to put on a pregnant belly. That would be kinda cool.

Dude, that would rock! In a gross way. I wonder if anyone makes custom temp tats?

Amy, sorry about your and your friend and her son's loss. That's so sad.

We took Mallory for his 6-month pede visit yesterday. He wasn't at his best, as he'd spent the day with the babysitter and thus hadn't napped, but the pede was charmed anyway. She offered to babysit him. He worked his charm on me as well, when he fell in love with a big stuffed dolphin at the store: [link]

Poor Hec!

Poor dw!

Amy, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. What a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Raq, that pic of you and Mal and the dolphin is just priceless! Thanks for sharing.

What is even happening?

No wonder Mal is so beautiful.

All is well that ends in pizza.

You decided to respond to my 13.5 hour workday with cat pictures?

Nope. Merely coincidental posting, I was skimming.

You both suck eggs.

Nope. But I have blown them.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

You decided to respond to my 13.5 hour workday with cat pictures?

13.5 is nothing to sneeze at, but I used to pull 14 hr shifts every week. 'Twas a great relief from the schedule in which I had two 16 hr shifts at the end of which I had to stay at work for another unpaid 8 hr sleepover in case of emergencies. See also the time when after 6.5hr shift, 8 hr sleepover, and 16 hr shift, my relief did not show up, and the house manager didn't get her butt in to rescue me until I'd been on duty for 23.5 hrs. When I finally got home, the cats had chewed open and eaten a package of uncooked ramen noodles.

Also, fie on Hec's work. I've been there, and it fucking sucks. It sucks more when the 12+ hour days are due to other people's incompetance, because of the rage.

Emily, are you flying out, today?

Also, fie on Hec's work. I've been there, and it fucking sucks. It sucks more when the 12+ hour days are due to other people's incompetance, because of the rage.
Yep. Twelve+ hour days are exhausting. Rage is exhausting. Put them together and ugh.
