Hm. I'm sort of losing it here, which is particularly bad since "here" is work. Can't finish my homework. Feeling really unsure about going to this wedding this weekend -- despite my being very happy for the couple and hoping they're very happy together, I'm a little worried that watching my last boyfriend get married may have me bursting out in tears over my never-going-to-date-againness. Which would just be embarrassing and cliched.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, I love the wind.
Be nicer if it weren't blowing grit in my eyes at the bus stop and the like.

And in my mouth.
Freshman are on a field trip to a college campus. So I only have my two sophomore classes today. We're reading the first chapter of "Bastard Out of Carolina" and it's the most interest they've shown in a story yet.
Go, team Bastard.
Oh, man. Bastard depressed the hell out of me. I suppose that goes without saying, though.
ETA: Why would you make a movie out of it, though? Depress-o-rama.
Emily, will you have other old friends there? The fun of hanging with them might go a long way to lessening the "never gonna marry" feeling.
I love Bastard! And my kids were begging me for something "real" -- we've read "A Good Man is Hard to Find" and "The Pit and the Pendulum" and they were all about the hate.
I think I'm going to do Hemingway or Fitzgerald next -- we're in our short story unit.
Um... nope. Really, while I have some acquaintances in common with the bride and groom, I don't think of any of them as friends, really. I'll be rooming with my former roommate, which is fine, but we weren't exactly close (this is the roommate who moved his girlfriend in for several months).

It's how you win Oscars.
It's so QUIET with the freshmen gone! It's GREAT.
This is why tourists like to go to Paris in August. Paris without Parisians!
Though personally I like Parisians just fine.
Hey, Erin! Are you Not!Broke yet?
I would like to reassure Emily that she will date again, pretty much whenever she decides she likes somebody. You'd have to be pretty stupid to pass on the chance to date her, and I just don't see her being interested in a stupid git.
