[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Buffista ~ma is very powerful stuff. I managed to get through five hours of classes today without breaking down into tears or falling asleep. Thanks, everyone. A year ago I would have totally given into the urge to stay in bed and hide all day. I think I am growing or something. Tonight I think Dave and I are going out for Chinese food because, there is no way I am cooking and I think I just need Chinese food tonight. Give me salt or die, or something like that.

Yay, Maria!!! Wishing you all the best for your wedding day!

Yeah, Stephanie. I am so happy for you for your family time.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I love my PT.

I have a bad muscle strain--no disk involvement or anything, so that's a relief. He gave me some stretches, told me to rest and ice as much as I could, and to get other people to do the heavy lifting for me as much as possible this weekend. So I was doing the right things, but now I have specific stretches, and the massaging and manipulating he did has me feeling better already.

Good news, Susan. I'd still totally come do heavy lifting for you, if it were at all practical.

Thanks, Sean.

I'm about to feed Annabel and head to the ballpark. We decided as long as I stretch between every inning, I should be OK despite the less-than-comfy seating.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So really more of an every inning stretch, then?

So I was doing the right things, but now I have specific stretches, and the massaging and manipulating he did has me feeling better already.
That is good news.

Susan, good luck at the game. I hope you have fun and your back doesn't bother you too much.

If by some freak of luck I'm ever in the King-Grisham-Roberts realm of bestsellerdom, I'm so gonna have a physical therapist among my cabana boys.

May I have one also?

[Edits for grammatical reasons. Which is precisely why I will never have that cabana boy.]

What is even happening?

Cass, we'll get you a special Cabana Boy. A Cabana Grammar* Boy.

And it can be sung to the tune of "Conjunction Junction."
