Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cashmere, what a relief. That's so wonderful.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cash, I am glad to hear that Scott will recoer. How are you doing?

Is the freakin tape-delayed race at 3 or 3:30?
tape delayed is showing qualifying now and race at 3:30. I am off to watch the Indy race as it happens and the freakin tape delayed a little more delayed. Danny clinches the moment he hits the track so I am all about the championships today since young Fernando just got his in Sao Paulo.

All is well that ends in pizza.

At the Ren Fest yesterday, Andi and I saw someone wearing a "Joss Whedon is my master now" t-shirt.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Thanks, everyone. I'm ok--just tired from the car trip. My poor sister is completely wiped out. Her husband had pulled a double shift at work when he got the call from Scott's gf. So after spending all night at the hospital, the poor man was awake for two days straight.

I *just* got off the phone with my sister and they did take him off the respirator a few minutes ago. The first words out of his mouth were, "I'm so sorry, Mom."

I'm just glad he's young and strong. I hope he learns his lesson from this. He came very, very close to not making it.

What is even happening?

Good thing. Sometimes, I wish family and friends could bottle all the fear, pain, and heartbreak they experience when a loved one is addicted, and somehow let the addict feel it first hand.

I'm just glad he's young and strong. I hope he learns his lesson from this. He came very, very close to not making it.
Yes. Please. Let this be the last lesson he needs on this front. Please.

Good news~ma, good news~ma, good news~ma.

At the Ren Fest yesterday, Andi and I saw someone wearing a "Joss Whedon is my master now" t-shirt.

Sadly, he gave no reaction when I shouted "Browncoat!" But then, I'm not sure even Daniel heard me.

"I love drugging my cats."

Sammie is apparently a bit of paranoid little nip-head. She's perched in the entertainment center, and leans away when I try to pet her. Harvey on the other hand just spent a good ten minutes standing on Dan's shoulder, meowing. I swear it sounded like he was saying, "I can fly, man, I can fly!"

Cash, I'm glad he's ok for now. Hope the ok-ness sticks.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Man, there is a fandom for everything.

It's not exactly "girlfriend in a coma," but it's close.

On top of it being sad, and scary, having so little information must be frustrating for you.

I'm kinda zen. It's so far away, and I have so little info, that I'm pretty separate from it. I was upset last night, but now I'm just waiting to hear.
