Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

On the way back from meeting friends for dinner after the Ren. Faire

We met for burgers at The Lion's Tap in Eden Prairie.

Lion's Tap sits along the Minnesota river, and up the valley ridge about a quarter mile from it is a capped and piped spring. The city doesn't guarantee it's eternal freshness, but hey...constantly running artesian spring water.

Back at the restraunt they sell those empty 5 gallon canola oil jugs restaurants use. They have been washed and rinsed and sell for 3 for a dollar. I spied them for sale under a small counter and bought three on the spot.

We now have 15 gallons of spring water in the back of the van for me to haul into the house.

Oh boy, what would Harvey have done if we hadn't moved here? He spends so much time snuggling Daniel that Daniel can't live his life normally. The male half of the couple we met for dinner last night said as how he missed getting his daily emails from Daniel, now that I'm living with him. The truth is, I'm working in the evenings so much, it isn't really me that stops the emails. It's Harvey. It is darned hard to type with a cat on your chest, and Harvey is continually sitting on Daniel's chest.

This morning, Dan was at his desk, catching up on Minnearverse, holding Harvey. He told the cat, "I'm eventually going to have to get some breakfast." Did no good. So I came over and picked Harvey up. Harvey rather obviously did not want to be held. By me. He jumped out of my arms and was headed back to Dan, who had to scurry into the kitchen to avoid becoming cat furniture again.

I seldom scurry in real life.

There was definite scurrying going on. I saw it.

All the other Bitches must be sleeping in or at church.

Emily just corrected me. She's also out of shape, but see, I was trying to be nice and didn't want to speak for her. Apparently, it's ok.

Yay for the exercising, you two.

Of course, that sounds all slashy now.

No, but check this: I set the elliptical machine for fat-burning, which is supposed to work you at 65% of your max rate, and half a minute later it was telling me to slow down. And it kept telling me that for the remaining 6 minutes I was on the machine. I couldn't go any slower!
