Has anyone else found themselves in tears as often as not, this week? I've got the tight feeling in my throat from trying to choke them back. I feel like such a baby, only my fat thighs aren't cute.

Perkins, you can either attach a bank account to your paypal account to transfer money, or you can have them send you a check. The check takes longer and there's a small fee, but otoh, no need to involve your bank account number if you aren't comfortable doing so.

GRE class question: If I wanted to sign up for a GRE course but need to miss the first class (business travel), is it stupid to enroll? The first class is only an hour long while the rest of the classes are 3 hours. I'm assuming the first class is just a general GRE intro, which I've had in my prep books. I'm vacillating wildly as it costs $1,000 and my co. won't pay for it.

No, a dog walk doesn't count. If I have to go to the gym, YOU have to go. And if your dog is anything like my dog, you'll still have to take him to the dog beach *in addition to* going to the gym. And you'll feel all accomplished afterwards. Notice I said nothing about during.

I was going to go to the gym after work....and then a friend called with an extra ticket to tonight's Bengals game. Now, sure, it's pre-season, but -- football! So no gym. I'll just have to make sure to hit the gym tomorrow and Sunday.

Question for other parents/people who've been around a lot of kids:

Annabel took nearly a year to settle into her dark brown eyes--they stayed that newborn smoky gray for months, then very gradually transitioned to their permanent color. From remarks made by family, I got the impression she changed a bit later than normal.

I want to give a fictional baby his permanent eye color at three months, all the better to make his paternity glaringly obvious. Is that plausible, or is Annabel more the norm?
