Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Is -t's dog going with her to CA?

Our wings are not tired.

Yes Raq, the dog is with her. Also 2 cats.

Could someone e-mail me about where to send something for -t when it is known? I skip and skim a lot.

This is me, but I'll send a note to Perkins. Thanks Trudy for your efforts in this.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Last night went better than I could have hoped for. Teacup Guy's brother and sil are just the sweetest people. I wish they weren't moving in a few weeks. We might go up to thier place this week to help them pack and so I can meet the kids before they move. It was a great night, good food, good conversation, and lots of laughs.

The Food Network is making me want a pannini maker.

In somewhat happier news, today is exactly ONE month before I marry the only man in the world who could possibly love me enough to think my neuroses are cute.

Awww. This is so sweet. The dress is so gorgeous too! Best of luck getting all those last minute details done.

BWAH! My bridesmaids will not be able to AVOID the food. Hello? Big fat Italian family here? Heh.

Now that is my idea of a wedding.

{{{Gud}}}

Aidan's teacher is very nice and she was amazed at how smart he is. Of course, all my babies are smart.

Of course. This goes without saying.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Argh. Coworker is just pushing every button of mine today. Including the Big Red One that makes me snarl in not nice ways.

She started here just before I did but once I was contracted and then hired, I am technically titled and positioned higher than her.

But she just wants to try and tell me what I have to do and find out exactly what I am doing to report to my boss. Which on good days, I can wave off. Today, it bugs.

I also need my client to call me back with his decision on whether he wants foil on his business cards or just two colors of ink. I need to finish the files TODAY if he wants foil. I am snarling at the clock too.

And fun of fun, we are taking the whole company to lunch today in about twenty minutes. I would rather stay here, hear from my client and get my work done so I can leave early and start my weekend of slothful healing for my back.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

And they might just need money to get by--eat, pay student loans, etc.. We've got to figure -t's out of work for the foreseeable future. If her place of employment was destroyed, she might not have any income coming in, even if Henry will/might.

Didn't she recently quit her job?

I'm not saying that makes things easier for them, but if they were already anticipating just one income, then at least this won't be devastating.

Mostly, I'm just hoping for the least-traumatic situation for them, and if they were already adjusted to just one income, then that's one less hurdle for them.

I'm getting the pig!

I've met Jess but I've only seen pics of E - still fairly certain that Jess and E babies would be stunning. And SMART! And incredibly fortunate to have such cool parents.

Last night went better than I could have hoped for.

That's great, sweetie! Very glad to hear it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Didn't she recently quit her job?

Yep. She had given her 2 weeks on Friday, I thought.

I forgot to say that Jess and E will make a beautiful baby, and also that being loving parents is much more important than having lots of space for a baby or all the stuff that advertisers try to make us thin is necessary.

Because books.

So glad to hear from -t this morning. I'm in for whatever we're doing by way of care packages/a shower, so Trudy and Perkins, just keep us all posted.

They were renters, too, right? Which doesn't help with any/all of their belongings, but probably makes things a little easier for them. They don't have to rebuild, at least.

also that being loving parents is much more important than having lots of space for a baby or all the stuff that advertisers try to make us thin is necessary

Very true. When they're newborn, you can plop them in a carseat/bouncy and let them sleep in the middle of the living room. They're fairly portable early on. (And, you know, wee!)

Last night went better than I could have hoped for.

See?! So glad it was wonderful.
