Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Cabana boys all round. Or cabana girls if you prefer.

Yikes, Cindy. I hope tomorrow is better.

But, but, but the post was so entertaining. Oh ok, I hope it's better too. It won't take much. Let's make it much better so we can get an entertaining all is well in the world post.

What is even happening?

{{{askye}}}

I could tell you what my mom would've said about buying crickets but she would want me to bleep it. I think the lizard would be dead, though.

In spirit, I'm right there with her. In practice, I have guilt to work off, because I still harbor suspicion that the death of my kids' frog was mostly my fault.

Does anyone else find it disturbing that the children have to feed live crickets to the lizard? I don't have a problem with wild creatures eating other wild creatures, or my children being taught about it. I do find this disturbing.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

At that age, I thought feeding crickets to lizardy things was the coolest thing evar. I may have been atypical in this.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, while there aren't a lot of things we eat while they are still alive, we do eat a lot of stuff that is raw. So, I think feeding an animal it's natural food is okay. No point trying to Disney it up by feeding them dry food all the time. Although, that does give you the opportunity to discuss the difference. Pets vs. wild animals, domesticated vs. tame, what's necessary for life, the sacrifices, etc.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lots of calm~ma to Cindy.

Ugh. I've got a headache now. Chest pain plus headache makes me worried, even though I know it's just heartburn.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I suddenly have a 101 fever, and I just threw up everything I've ever eaten. I never throw up. WTF? Is there something going around?

I'm with Cindy. Lay the hell off, universe. I am so over being sick.

t This post brought to you by whining and the desire for sympathy. Now I think I'll lie down.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I think I just saw ita. Well, probably not really. But the person in the picture at the Yahoo mail login looked a lot like ita, except from the back. So, ita, are you a model on top of krav, tech, glamorous security, etc.?
