I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Trust me on this Cash, every mom and dad has had those days. Lots of those days.

Madrigal's in jail, pass it on

Also, Brendon Jr. was 22 pounds at 4 months and such a butterball. He is now over 6' and 150 pounds. They grow out then up, repeat often.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

so I just need to care fuck all what other mothers think.

Other mothers have had their tantrum moments with their kids too. Here's what they thought: "That poor, Mom. Phew, at least it wasn't mine. Today."

At least he was very gentle and polite with the other kids and didn't steal anyone's toys or sippy cups.

This matters much more in the toddler social scheme of things. Heaven forbid you have a biter. Then come the dirty glares at pick up time. (Emmett was not a biter. He was often bitten however.)

Now tagless for your comfort.

Heaven forbid you have a biter

He only bit me a few times. We broke that QUICKLY.

the only behavior librarians hate , comes from moms. moms who ignore their kids and let them run wild. moms that let thierkids pull all the books off the shelves and scatterthem on the floor

I pretty much follow him closely, unless he's approaching other kids or playing with toys. If he's running, I'm right there beside him.

We'll try again next week and if it doesn't work out now, I'll try when he's older.

OK, we're off to the grocery. Thanks, everyone. I'm a little less stressed now.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Try different parts of the room too, cass. Up front ( i don't know how many people there are) the storyteller might capture his attention better. but the back is better if he'd rather stand. Trail and error. - talk to the librarians if you are really worried - they have seen it all. after a couple of tiome s they might say he isn't ready - and then again - they may see that he is settleing down. They will be really nice to you.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Tomorrow is Dave's birthday, but tomorrow he and I will be on a plane to Denver, so I am cooking him a birthday dinner tonight. I have the most delicious smelling tomato sauce simmering on the stove, and soon I will leave to fail my first exam of the semester. I haven't even begun to pack yet and my apartment is a mess.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

You will not fail, sj. You know your stuff, and will triumph at the exam. And then there will be nice dinner, and then there will be a flight, and visitage to make the rest of us jealous. IJS.

Yay, vw, for the money stuff working out.

Many good wishes for the daughters of cardiac dads and their dads. Heartfelt sympathies to polgara and her sister.

Owen will civilize himself, and Mal will equalize his weight on his own, just fine.

Congratulations to pizza-having and school-going Aidan, and birthday girl and also school-going Kara!

Madrigal, would it help if *we* sent email? We could take turns signing them, "Epstein's Mother," if that would help.

Sorry for the negative, I am just completely overwhelmed at the moment. I want everything to be perfect tonight and I still have to wrap the gifts, ect. Plus, I feel into my old bad habits with school and procrastinated a little too much. Right now I am just trying to have an anxiety attack because I doubt that will help matters.
