Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. I have somehow completely screwed my finances this month. A good bit of it was bills, but far from all, and I really didn't realize how close to the wire I was getting. Now I'm going to have to take money out of savings just to keep afloat. It's only six days from my last freaking paycheck. And I still haven't paid my car registration, and I have two weddings coming up in early October that I haven't bought gifts for yet.

Oh, brenda, I hate that realization. I'm sorry. I hope you get it figured out and make it to the next paycheck.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I have two weddings coming up in early October that I haven't bought gifts for yet.

Now, I may be suffering under a delusion of fake etiquette, but the wedding gifts, you are suposed to have a year to give... so you may be able to stretch that out a little bit, over then enxt few months... right?

Our wings are not tired.

I received many after the wedding gifts and didn't find it unusual. Actually rather fun.

Hi all! I'm going to have to master the art of the meara. It seems I have to catch up on hundreds of posts every time I get here. Sigh Stupid having to work for a living.

What is even happening?

We received gifts before, after, and during the wedding. Brenda, put me in the pile that says you have a month or two (I think etiquette-wise, you probably do have a year, but I know it would weigh on my mind until I was finally able to give the gift).

It's a remora, dimwit.

-just a brief self-centered sigh here-

I've been gone for a month and a half and it seems my relatives have just either forgotten me or are trying some shunning procedure. Almanzo gets email from his family a couple times a week. I've been emailed once by my mother, and it was only after sending out a ton of emails to her, my grandmother and a couple of my uncles, plus leaving some very expensive messages on her answering machine. It's making almost miss the days when she'd call at all hours of the day to come over to watch the girls or fix something or just yammer on and on about how perfect her firstborn is.

Poor Madrigal! That's just not right.

Ok...after all that stressing about my cancelled loans? Turns out they're not cancelled after all. After a little checking I have discovered that they have to cancel out the "pending" loans in the computer system before they put the actual money in.

My excess check? Will be ready after 2:30pm on Friday. Wheeeeeeee! I'll be able to breathe again!

Madrigal's Mom! Write your daughter now! My mom doesn't do the email thing, and she doesn't do the phone thing either. Lucky step-dad is very big on the email and sends pictures.

I'll be breathing on your behalf once you get the statement that school is paid in full and when you get to deposit that check!
