Hi, Anne! Seeing you reminded me that I had to respond to that unpleasant e-mailer. I just did. We'll see what kind of response I get, especially since I waited three days to respond. Hee!
Also, my spelling sucks, but in the weirdest way. I just spell-checked the e-mail before sending it off, and of course, there were errors. But, I managed to spell on of the words correctly once and incorrectly another time. I do that ALL the time. I wish my brain would just make up its mind.
that word is forever pronounced Wuh-stah in by head
Woo-stah-sher. So when I was at this wedding in Michigan, I ran into a friend who, it turns out, attended for one year the school in Brookline that a couple of my new teaching acquaintances are currently teaching at. I don't want to say it's a small world, but...
sj- how are things on the Dave job front?
I am at work. I really wish I weren't. I feel like total fucking ass, and I felt nauseous on the commute, so I didn't finish my coffee, so when I put it in my backpack side pocket and hustled out to catch my shuttle is splashed all down the back of my right pants leg, ass to ankle.
I need a coffee to go cup that closes completely. And I want to go home.

My pain is much less severe than others', I donate my brackets to those who are more deserving...
Woo-stah-sher
Pretty much. The "Woo" is sort of short, though. If it sounds like a full
Woo,

Nora, I am sorry you're having a crap morning. I hope the day improves, immediately.

I pronounce it something like wist-a-sheer, though I suspect this may be one of those words where my brain took my mother's Western Mass pronunciation and tried to align it with my father's New York one and ended up with something that's not quite how anyone else pronounces it. (See also: "quarter," "half," "bury," and the "York" part of "New York.")
