Aimee, that sucks.
Insomnia was really the pits last night. Didn't fall asleep until after 5. Got a nap in this afternoon, but still tired.
I envy my cats.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, that reminds me. I need to water my basil whenever I finally get home.
I seek insights into the mind of Cass. How does my drama queen of a subconscious remind you to water the basil? Is it dying of radiation sickness?
She wouldn't happen to be named Prisilla, would she?
No, no, drama queen, not drag queen.
drama queen, not drag queen
Judging by most movies I've seen of drag queens, these terms are synonymous. Embrace your inner Patrick Swayze, bt.

Lord no. My sister, for instance, is only one of the above (not Patrick Swayze).
My dream world was dying of radiation sickness, and did not look fabulous doing so.

Ah, herbaceous drama. Excellent.
For the full drama queen effect, I probably should have had everyone dying of consumption. Must work on that.
I'm sorry, I forgot to say earlier, health~ma to Teppy's dad, and I hope that he gets through it OK, and that you get through it OK, too, Tep.
OMG, Aimee. How incredibly horrible. I am so, so sorry. My thoughts are with your family.
Heart~ma to Steph's dad, and Aimee, much sympathy. How terrible.
We're now 10 days from turning in the school's reaccreditation documents, all 400 pages of them.
Bad news: We're only half done. We had SEVEN YEARS to work on them, and we're HALF DONE, and we have TEN DAYS left. ARRRGH.
Good news: Last time the accreditation people told us we had to build a faculty database to keep our accreditation. It took two years, but we got it built. And it's already saved my ass three times. We think it's shaved at least a month off the amount of time it took last time (7 years ago).
Annabel appears to be eating the flaps off a flap book. I guess I should stop her.
dw, that sounds like my workplace. We've been rewriting our style manual for three years, and it's due two months ago, and it still isn't done.
In shoe news, has anyone else seen this?
