Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

'The Girl in Question'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{Jilli}} That just sucks and they're totally missing out on the best person for the job.

I am in for a -t care package.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Your wish is my command: [link]

Oh, wow. Does it include the neck ribbon thingie?

That's beautiful, Maria. You're going to look like a princess.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

sighhhhh

Now give us the description...

If you remove it her head falls off!

(tell me I'm not the only one who knows that ghost story!)

Nope. I added a very Audrey Hepburn-esque portrait collar to cover my shoulders and back for the church. I'll remove it for the reception.

Thank you, ChiKat. I almost want to marry the dress. But not quite.

Now give us the description...

Ivory silk mikado, hand-embroidered and beaded, chapel-length train that's already bustled three times, and simply beautiful. It's still the One. True. Dress.

If I lose a thousand pounds could I wear it?

How are you doing your hair? And do your brides maids know they're not allowed to eat things?

Trudes, you could wear it now. I'm certainly no skinny minny.

My hair is going to be half up, half down. The bangs will be swept across the forehead, and the crown will have a little height, because the 120 inch cathedral-length veil (which Mother insisted on) and headpiece needs a sturdy anchor. The sides will be pulled back and blended into the back of the hair, so it looks as if it's being invisibly held back.

And do your brides maids know they're not allowed to eat things?

BWAH! My bridesmaids will not be able to AVOID the food. Hello? Big fat Italian family here? Heh.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

the 120 inch cathedral-length veil

I'm a sucker for cathedral-length veils. Love love LOVE them. If I have a church wedding, I'm SO getting one.
