Me too. There's gonna be cake.
Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
What kind?
I need to figure out what to get my niece for her sixteenth birthday (Monday) party next next weekend. I am resisting the urge to get her a chastity belt as being overly protective and possibly illegal.
I hae lost v's on my keyboard currently so I hae to find one, copy it and then go to the frelling menu (or right click) to paste it because the v doesn't work when I want to cntl v. It is affecting my word choices and not in a good way.

I'll take 'Items you don't want to receive as hand-me-downs' for $400, Alex.

Two new Lily pictures up to mark 5 months.
That smile time photo--she's plotting something. I'd be worried. I'm torn as to who she resembles more. Some photos, I think she's all Paul but with your beautiful eyes. Then, it smacks me how much she looks like you.
What Cashmere said about Lily. I looked at the top picture, and thought, "My word, that's Paul shrunken down, and put in pink jammies," and then the next picture she was all Plei.
Em is too too cute. And knowing, what a knowing little face she has. The picture Ginger linked is the one that most struck me too, because she looks smitten. I don't know if MM or Aimee took the picture, but I remember my kids looking at me like that--like I was their own true love. Such a melty expression.
I loved the second-to-the-last picture of Em! And Lilybean with holding her head up! The fifth month was great with Mal, Plei - I hope you guys enjoy Lily during hers.
I may have mentioned here that due to an embassy error, it looked like we were going to have to pay out of pocket for the hospital, rather than our insurance paying for it, and then on top of that reimburse the government for the $20,000 they sent to cover the hospital charges until the insurance money came through. It appears to have worked out; we paid $850, which is a lot better than $20K+.
The Greek employee who was responsible for the mistake was fired, though. Not our goal in this, but she'd apparently made a lot of other mistakes that had cost the embassy tens of thousands of dollars, and this was the capper.
She showed back up to work the next day. She just couldn't believe that she'd been fired; she didn't really get what it meant. According to some of the other Greek employees, who were telling me about this, there's no cultural background for it - nobody ever gets fired here.
