My thoughts were practical (gift certificate to Target or the like to help replace things like clothing), impractical (small, beautiful things that can be easily travelled with), and comforting (things like chocolate/her treat of choice/assuming she's in Deena's database).
And a tiara.
Because everyone needs one.
vw, have you taken Aleve, cola, and an ice pack to the back of the neck? These three things work better for me than anything at the emergency room, not that I haven't shown up there for a migraine.
The giving, not the shunning. I'll stay out of that.
Sooper Seekrit Ms. to Brenda:
the shunning is only pretend and because of the Trudy/Tiajuana ban which is, alas, not pretend
cereal: And I'm in on the care package.
libkitty, I've done advil, excedrine migraine, heat and chocolate.
Oh, and I'm totally in on the care package.
Hey, Bitches? I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing some sort of care package for -t, once we have an address for her.
Count me in.

Cool dark room, damp cloth over eyes, maybe? {{{vw}}}
Plei, I think a care package for -t is a lovely idea. Count me in.
I'm in on the care package.
Can't give much, but count me in.
Feeling a little more human, though still cranky.

I warned her such a thing could happen and told her to send me an address once she has it.
I'd really like to have some sort of "shower" for her in a few weeks/months when she and H get resettled. They could register at BB&B or something and those close enough could actually housewarm in person while the rest of us send things to the party.
