Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Job ~ma!

I had a fender bender this morning. Grrrrr. If not for the fact that SHE HIT ME, I would feel sorry for the very frightened undergrad driving the other car because she was obviously upset.

Yes, everyone involved is okay. I am just annoyed by the event. It meant a long phone call with the insurance people and a trip to the body shop this morning for an estimate. The body shop trip was mitigated by the fact that the body shop owner had pretty blue eyes.

I can't even.

I had a fender bender this morning. Grrrrr. If not for the fact that SHE HIT ME, I would feel sorry for the very frightened undergrad driving the other car because she was obviously upset.

I had one of those once, although it was a bit more than bender-y. A young woman pulled out of a strip mall, turning left right in front of me and I T-Boned her good (no porn intended, but carry on). I was pretty annoyed at first but that evaporated when the story came out that she was not driving her car, not driving her boyfriend's car, not driving her boyfriend's father's car, but in fact was driving her boyfriend's father's company car without his permission, to make a beer run, because her bf and his pals were too loaded to do so themselves at 5pm on a workday. The listening police officer looked at me and the shaking, crying girl and said "this will be pretty straight-forward. I think I have the at-fault figured out."

Ann, that's a ferret.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Heh. Now y'all have made me smile, which is very good for a interview in 45 minutes.

It's a phone interview, but I'm going to go hit the showers anyway. I've been sleeping too late (funny phrase when unemployed) and I think that will be a nice to face my employment future with a clean badass self.

Then I'ma come back and growl at the person who hit sparky.

Hee.

Job ma to Susan and to Astarte!

I only hope they aren't trying for the same job, because I'd hate for the ~ma to get all confuzzled.

Sorry about the accident, Sparky. Even when no one's hurt, they're still quite upsetting.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

job~ma to Astarte.

I'm just sitting around waiting for the phone to ring, and hoping Annabel stays quiet. (She's down for her nap, but not precisely asleep.)
