(Okay, technically the booze is in the kitchen. But it's a very small apartment.)

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I call this place my "living room."
Well, our apartment has that, too. The futon is comfy and we have a lot of DVDs, and the booze isn't too far away, BUT it has the disadvantage of having other beings occupying it, as well. I seriously do not want any face-to-face interaction right now, including the cats.
Oh, I just got another interview--this one with a nonprofit based in New York that's doing a major Seattle fundraiser next summer and needs an event coordinator out here. Very similar to what I'm interviewing for on Wednesday, only that one is with a local organization and is coordinating a spring event. First round is a phone interview, so I just emailed them convenient times (i.e. either before Dylan leaves for work or when Annabel is likely to be napping!), but it sounds like they might fly the final candidates to NYC for interviews.

Cool!
Happy birthday, billytea!
Susan, that sounds very cool! Good luck!
Nicole, I am probably going to wear a black skirt, purplish shirt and black jacket.
On top of that fruitful e-mail, I also just got this e-mail from the assistant director of the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy:
Valerie, You are one of final two candidates. Please let me know how much monies you have for work study ASAP. I know that is an issue and I am trying to see if it is feasible. I am working on another opportunity for you with the Center. I told the Director, Carol Hardy-Fanta about you.
So, looks like I'm gonna have choices again. I hate these kinds of choices...especially since I feel like I made the wrong one last time, which is why I'm back in this place again.
The interview mojo is certainly workin' around here today! Now if only someone would post I job I could get excited about in a place I'd like to live.
I feel like I made the wrong one last time
No, you made a great choice and then they changed important need-to-know things on you.
Happy Birthday P-C and Billytea!
Can I go home now?
I forgot the birthdays! Happy Birthday P-C and Billytea!

Here's a thought -- if I'll be in New Zealand on my birthday does that mean I actually get to celebrate it when it's the day here in the US and when it's the day in NZ?
No. It means you have to give all your presents to me.
