So after yesterday's cleaning extravaganza, I now look around at the living room floor and see strewn around: 4 tennis balls; 1 nasty half chewed bone; 1 nasty mostly chewed cow hoof; one frog, stuffed; one bear, stuffed; one bear, stuffed and wearing a chicken suit; one-half bowl of dog chow. ETA: Oh, and a screwdriver. Someone's been digging in the toolbox again. Sigh.
Oh, but yay! I
finally
found an ottoman. I've been looking for the past few months, and nearly every thing I've found is either fugly or expensive or both. Seriously, the entry price level for these things seems to be about $75. WTF? And then at Target, beautiful Target, I find one clearanced for $14! I didn't much like the fabric, but it would be really easy to recover. And now that it's in my house, it's actually kind of growing on me, so I might not need to do even that.
Deena, is it Kara's birthday, too?
Deena! I've been inadvertantly spreading false information about your household this morning.
Yes, today Kara is 4!
What false information, Brenda? Was it fun?
Happy Birthday Cutie Head Kara!!
I wished Aidan a happy birthday due to gronkliness, and mass confusion ensued.
Happy Birthday Kara a.k.a. Tyrone!!!
Happy Birthday, Trudy!!!
You don't get big, green font in case you had a big night last night, but you get double wishes--both here and in Natter.
Hee. Cindy's cute.
I'll direct the girl to the happy birthdays when she returns. She's currently forcing her father to help her find some itty bitty toys she lost.
Happy birthday Trudy!
Happy birthday Tyrone!
We slept in till about 9:30 then had oatmeal and eggs. As separate breakfast courses. We watched Newsradio DVDs and Tom is in the bath. All's right in our world. Just have to avoid the news for a couple more hours, so I can continue the illusion that I don't live in a country that sucks.
