Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

50g olive oil equal to about 20 mg ibuprofen in painkilling efficacy. (So not quite a replacement therapy. But still cool!)

Here, this should give everybody a chuckle (it's a pic of me with the Conundrum from X-Files): [link]

And for Hec, back of my recent haircut. It may not be as short as some, but I chopped of a few inches: [link]

Good color, good nape. Good choice, I say.

Interview went OK, I think. I liked the people I'd be working with. They're interviewing 5 people, though, and trying to make a decision before the boss leaves for Europe next week. So I'm going to email my thank you and then try to forget about it as best I can.

Right now I'm feeling generally pessimistic, but it's probably just a post-adrenaline crash or something.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm sorry, Jilli. I hope they do find another position for you.

Why is it that Dark Chocolate Hershey Kisses don't really taste like dark chocolate?

I think you will find the answer you're looking for in the use of the word 'Hershey'.

owever, the T. Gigantea (don't google. Just. Don't.) ALWAYS trigger my phobia, and hard.

I googled! And got a tree. Of northwestern America, so I'm close.

Ok, found it. Yep, that would be hard to ignore. I know this won't help with the phobia thing, but it does note that T. gigantea keeps hobo spiders out of your house. Hobo spider bites can cause a necrotic reaction like brown recluses, so gigantea makes a much better neighbour.

T. Gigantea? Yup, they are big buggers. And fast. Held the world record for spider speed until 1987. they've been clocked at 1.73 ft / sec or something.

And from what I can gather, the new record-holder is a solifugid, and thus not strictly a spider at all.

It goes on the halflings head.

This can work in your favour! You can accessorise with duck tiaras to complement your own.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Jilli, I'm SO sorry! I really thought this was the one.

I have a killer migraine. I've had it since this afternoon, but kept hoping it would go away. It's not. I don't even have the energy to walk my poor dog. Ugh. This is not fun.
