I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JZ has been fed and now she is entubulated.

I put in the restorative Kniepp hops/herbal bath and lit her candle. She's reading The Mammoth Book Of Pulp Fiction and drinking fizzy water.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Presliced mushrooms are also prewashed.

Two steps saved in one! Plus, most places I shop, they're the same price per pound as unsliced, or as near as to make no difference.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah the prewashed factor is a good point. I am a lazy cook.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Could be worse. Could have Fizzies dropped into the water...

Maybe, but if he has that alcohol, both he and the bath could be bombed together.

move out and draw fire

But I had the Limoncello out to work on the lemon cake recipe for the cook book

Yay! Lemon cake inclusion!

Also, the in-thread recipes for clam linguini, the mushroom/spinach combo, and that cake with the cranberry pie filling should also find their way to the cookbook.

Plus, since I was the only one around when they came to get a name for the birth certificate

I tried to go get Mal's birth certificate on my own, but then they gave him my maiden name as a last name. Also, I didn't have enough Greek at the time to explain that he had two given names. So he almost ended up Maloritzames.

Does anyone remember Darth, former buffista (and still an LJer)? His name is Thad

I remember Darth! Both his names are cool. Wish I could get away with naming a kid Darth.

but...no desire to be a single parent either

Sometimes I think it would be easier if it were just me. Having to match up the DH's schedule and the baby's is nigh unto impossible. But I know babies do better with multiple adults as caregivers, so I'll keep the spouse for a while.

What is even happening?

In my experience, most of the stoves I've had with a separate broiler were gas stoves. Electric stoves tend to have a combo oven/broiler and you just adjust the shelves to where you want them.

I was going to say that earlier, and then I remembered that the gas stove I bought for our old house had the broiler in the oven. The bottom was just a drawer.

I actually prefer the drawer. The times I am going to have to broil one thing while another is baking are few and far between. The need for storage? Eternal.

Gronklies, everyone.

I still woke up with a hella stiff neck, but I slept so much better, and it seems to be resolving faster (with the help of the handy dandy heating pad, of course) this morning.

Can one make love to a pillow?
