I couldn't believe it the first twenty times you told us, but it's starting to sink in now.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

In my experience, most of the stoves I've had with a separate broiler were gas stoves. Electric stoves tend to have a combo oven/broiler and you just adjust the shelves to where you want them.

I was going to post the same thing.

Gas ranges = Broiler on bottom.

Electric = Storage on bottom.

There are exceptions, but yeah. exactly. What Sail said.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I'm getting my hair cut and colored right now! AIFG!

Well, to be completely honest, I'm sitting around waiting for the color to process; hence, the posting.

I am so psyched about this new cut.

Our wings are not tired.

Gas range = still can cook in hurricane. Ok, maybe more of factor here, but other places have power outage issues too.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My parents' stove was gas with the broiler inside.

What are the arguments for putting it one place or the other, I wonder?

Thrive to spite them

I went to Mom's and had dinner. That she actually made, because I'm sick. Chicken and yellow rice with peas. And salad. Now I have leftovers and she has chicken broth that she's going to make soup with.

Then we watched the US Open and yelled for Kim Clijsters to win and booed at Mary Pierce. Tomorrow is the Men's final and Mom and I will be at odds as she is a huge fan of Agassi and I'm not.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

we had pasta with some pesto I made with some rather hearty basil that's been hanging on quite nicely since last weekend. Also sauteed some cherry (red, yellow, purple) tomato halves in some olive oil till yummy, threw that in the pasta along with some fresh mozzerella. Served up with some lamb merguez sausage that Tom has finally found, in Marblehead of all places.

Then rasberries. Then hot apple cider and whiskey, as there was a bit of a chill in the air.

I would like to report that my shower looks AWESOME. I am so proud. I may never have been as proud of an accomplishment ever.

Raq, we have a glass door thing. And happily the vent is over the sink, not the shower. I'd freak out if this thing had a curtain.

Watched Firefly: The Message and Heart of Gold. Damn, that Julie Cooper is something else. Now, just need to rewatch Objects in Space and I'm ready for the movie! But I have now seen the unaired Firefly eps.

I wonder if it has something to do with gas broiling being more effective in an enclosed space with the older style of flame nozzle?
