Howdy folks. Did someone mention chocolate? I've been a-skipping...

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Now Eating: Sandwich of broiled mild Italian Sausage. Mmmm, Pork.
Nice.
My supper: T-Bone steak, green salad, caprese salad, baked potato. With chocolate eclair for dessert. Steaks were on sale, grocery store is across the street. Boddington's Pub ale from my fridge. Watching baseball on the telly.
I was in a kind of lazy cooking mood, so my dinner was stirfry: tofu, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and scallions, with lots of garlic and ginger. And now I'm having some chocolate pudding.
My supper: a whole bunch of baby bella mushrooms sauteed with garlic and onions, and an entire bag of spinach thrown in at the end, stirred until cooked, and served.
Excellent, though I think I actually managed to undercook the spinach a bit. Or else it just wasn't particularly great texturally.
I exercised today, and so the portion i had may have been not enough, and I may soon make an omelette using the leftovers of the same concoction. Seems designed as omelette filling. With swiss. Mmm.
ETA: I love Boddingtons! And forgot to buy dessert, so you people talking of dessert is making me a sad panda and I may go get something but i don't want to spend more money so it's a catch-22. Maybe an apple. Or toast with honey.
Well, the name discussion appears to be over, darn. My only contribution is that my son ended up with a J name because it was the only one that neither of us hated at first hearing. I wanted Matthew after my mother (Mattie) and he wanted Michael, Jr. (but with the ex and a brother named Michael, we didn't need a third one.) So, it devolved to a name we both found acceptable, if not our first choice. Plus, since I was the only one around when they came to get a name for the birth certificate, I pulled a fast one. The ex wanted Jesse James, but with a last name of Dalton, that just seemed particularly cruel and had unfortunate initials to boot (I can't stand J.J. Walker.) I stuck in my choice of middle name (Allen, after myself, hee) just to piss off the ex. It worked. Still, I found out later from my grandmother that there was an Uncle Jesse in the mix. Ended up being a family name after all.
Cass, for some reason, I had your pain filed as being lower back pain. The flexeril is doing you good for your neck, even though they think it's a pinched nerve? Hmmm. Yeah, I am probably calling my doctor on Monday. The worst, and most specific, place is on the left side out on the edge of my rib before the bottom of the scapula.
The left side of my neck, and only the left side, is just tight and has been giving me massive headaches this whole time.
The rest of the back, especially the lower, has been going for sympathy spasms all over the place.
But that spot kinda just outside of where the two bra straps meet has been my major complaint - the one that is spasmatic, tingling, numb and just damn painful.
The reason it probably seemed low back to everyone is that I really sort of thought that the neck pain was just a stress thing, and it's hard for me to explain where that stupid localized spot is without pointing and obviously you all just weren't paying attention to where I was pointing. It's t points right here.
I suspect that there will be an MRI in my future but likely that will be PT too, so I shall hie me to the people who can help.
eta: Huh, that reads churlish to me. Which I didn't mean it to be at all. Now I sound like a git and I can't figure out how to make it better. Bother.
When I asked her why she took off her clothes, she said, "Nap."It's why I flung all my clothes off earlier.
She looks like a little pink prizefighter, though.Aww. Good girl.
I wants cake now.
Instead I have to get myself ready to make an appearance at a work party. First, I am stopping at the friend (from Thursday night's miffdom) to hook up her cable modem and drag her with me. I called to see if they needed the tech help and her husband answered the phone saying "chocolate" instead of "hello." I said "yes." He better give me chocolate when I get there.
What I would rather be doing is having dinner with JSw. YUM! I love Boddington's.
My supper: a whole bunch of baby bella mushrooms sauteed with garlic and onions, and an entire bag of spinach thrown in at the end, stirred until cooked, and served.I do this and add cannelini beans to it. Also yum.
I was pointing. It's <points> right here.
Oh, t slaps forehead right there! Mine is about 4-6 inches above t points there, on the same side. Although as it gets closer to my neck, the muscle on either side of the spine is also tense.
I got my pillow. I laid my head down on it for about 30 seconds, and I swear it felt a little better when I got up. I'm hopeful about tonight. My left shoulder starting hurting today, and it was scaring me. Then I realized, I'd been sitting forward, with my left arm bent and my left hand holding the heating pad in the right spot.
I am going to invent a heating pad vest with a high collar, one that has an insert for something to provide moist heat.
What I would rather be doing is having dinner with JSw. YUM! I love Boddington's.
You should have said, I had lots! Good luck at the work party and the cable modem install. Are you pre-medicating? (He asked, in Bitches, like there are more possible answers than one.)
We need an Attila. Attila is this friend of mine in the SCA (who lives in KC). He's a physical therapist, but what he really is, is a healer. He fixes people up.
Oh, right there!Yes. Now we're communicating. (I snorted when I read that too.)
Mine is about 4-6 inches above there, on the same side.Yikes. I hope it gets better for you very very soon.
and I swear it felt a little better when I got up.I am going to get a new pillow too. Mine is old and I could use more neck support. Obviously.
