[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

He's wonderful! Big, chubby, happy baby. The only sign there was every anything wrong is the scar on his chest.

Uh huh. ::drools::

Aw. Brave little guy. I love that age -- they're usually so happy at that stage.

I think Stephen is making me eggs and hash browns. Yum.

He's an exceptionally happy little guy, unless he has decided it is time to eat and you haven't fed him yet. Then all bets are off.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yay for healthy babies. And for cinnamon rolls.

I'm not waiting any longer. I'm selfish. She can warm them up in the microwave. I'm hungry.

What is even happening?

This is my seventh day straight of waking up in pain
Is there anything you can do? Have you called the doctor?

If I don't see improvement over the weekend, I will call the doctor on Monday or Tuesday.

Years ago, I was in a car accident, and hit from behind. There wasn't even damage to the car, but I had whiplash. My doc gave me a cervical collar. I wore it for a few days, and got better. Every once in a while, I aggrevate it, somehow. Sometimes by doing something I'm not strong enough to do, sometimes because I have 15 dollars worth of coins in my purse, etc.

This time, I slept wrong. That's all. I did nothing stressful or strenuous. I fell asleep on a couch at my mother's cottage. Dh knew I was exhausted, but that I often stay awake, if I get woken, so he left me there to sleep. I woke up in pain. I was almost all better on Wednesday, and didn't wear the collar, and now I'm back where I was early in the week.

When I have talked to my doctor about it in the past, he's mostly said to take Ibuprofen and wear the collar (which stretches it out--I'm pretty sure I have a pinched nerve). I didn't bother calling this time, because I'm 99% sure that will be the advice. He'd probably give me pain killers if I wanted them, but lots of meds seem to upset my stomach, or depress me, so I'm making due with the Ibuprofen. It's worst when I wake. Most of the day, the tension and stiffness is worse than the pain.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Mom! vw is making me hungry!

Sorry for all of you who hurt. I also have a mysterious injury to my finger. It's swollen and the nail feels like I poked the skin under it. Have no recollection of injuring myself, so I'm very perplexed. And annoyed.

It's Saturday, and sunny, and I'm so frickin' lazy. Somebody poke me with a sharp stick so I'll get up and do something productive.
