Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, I just planned to steal the technique, Jilli.

Good. Because it's dead easy. Plus, just about every fabric store is currently selling black twill tape with pre-set grommets, so adding a cinching effect to anything became much, much simpler. Two 12" strips of grommet tape down the back seams of a jacket takes about 15 minutes to sew at most.

If I only had a brain...

Is Cheaptrims still your lace vendor of choice?

Them, or eBay. I've been finding some very good deals on eBay lately.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'll flush some goldfish. That's my final offer.
We shall accept the goldfish. What were their names?
Okay, I'll throw in some some daddy-longlegs too, the creepy little bastards.
Keep 'em. Got too many already.

So ... InsaneCrazyClientFromHell said a photo looked "funny." This was the extent of her comments. I had the photographer (who I begged to do the retouching because me and PhotoShop have some with benefits time with each other but nothing committed) call her. ICCfH wanted to give the 50-ish woman a boobjob cause it looked like she was wearing a '50s bullet bra.

I am amused. Also? Got to say things at work that other times could lead to a warning. But it was about the breasts, so I could say breast.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

School went very well yesterday. I'm not as worried about the classes themselves as I thought I would be. However, I am worried about how I am going to physically handle being back in school. Walking around with a heavy backpack was just awful, and I hurt so very much today. How did I let myself get so out of shape?

Job~ma, Trudy.

Cashmere, Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Nick is so adorable!

Welcome, Shambles.

Congratulations on the good news, Stephanie!

Yay, Fay! I am glad this school year is going well for you.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ah, but could you say lovejugs? Magnificent milky stallions? Bouncy bouncy?

I think you should try it out, see what happens.

He'll think I am hitting on him.

Mostly lurking...

So, today I bought my very expensive textbook on ebay. AFTER I PAID, I got the following e-mail from the seller:

Thank you for ordering our textbook. You have ordered International edtion textbook which contains the exact same content as US versions, but with different cover. These Int'l ed. textbooks are printed with full copyrights overseas and sale of these books in United States does not violate any copyright laws. In fact, Supreme Court decision in 1998 protected sales of these books in US. You may find warnings such as "Not for sale in United States" but you can disregard these signs since these are from publishers who do not want these cheaper textbooks sold in US.

It says NOWHERE on the page [link] that it's the International version. And the picture they show is the picture from the US edition that is sold in the bookstore. Am I overreacting in being upset? Do you think the page numbers will be the same, and I should just eat this as a learning experience? Or, should I throw a hissy fit?
