Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I can't believe, in a discussion of Best Bond Themes, that not one of you mentioned A View to a Kill.

waves hand

I mentioned Duran Duran. Of course, I mentioned that I didn't like it much, but that it wasn't one of the worst.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey...Perkins and I quoted the same monologue.

That's because we are both very cool.

Ann, that's a ferret.

"Eye of the Tiger" is pretty dumb.

Only "pretty dumb"? You're too kind.

But the all-time worst was something the Chicago Bears did after their big season in the '80s

We ain't here to cause no trouble
We're just here to do the Super Bowl Shuffle.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was skimming, I admit.
Skimming? I was looking for something sharp to poke out my own eyes.

Though my Duran love is big. Saw their first show back together (two years ago at the Orange County Fairgrounds) with my BFF and we were suddenly 14 again. With better (and, you know, actual) knowledge of what those funny feelings meant now.

Pink sequined shoes!

Why do I suddenly have this obsession with wacky ballet flats? Especially sparkly ballet flats? I don't get it, but I want more sparkly shoes.

Silence means security silence means approval

OK, since this is germane, here was a list I did two years ago:

10 Worst Songs of the Last 25 Years

Bond songs that ruled: Goldfinger, View To A Kill, Live And Let Die, Thunderball, We Have All The Time In The World

Bond songs that sucked: All-Time High, the one Garbage did for the more recent one
