I think Michigan is easily Sufjan Stevens' most realized album (and my favorite).
Easily? I can see a preference for Michigan over Illinois, but I don't get seeing such a huge gap between the two.
Especially since Illinois is better.
'Out Of Gas'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

(I don't really like Sufjan Stevens at all.)
The new guy's a long-running music & book blogger (with impeccable taste, I might add, if his link to Lisa's band didn't tip you off). I'm pretty sure he can hold his own if he sticks around.
Oh, I'm sure. I just mostly needed an excuse to say that I didn't like Sufjan Stevens.

I want to hear what he has to say.

Really? But he employs choir-like arrangements and shit.
