Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

He just had wrist surgery! I don't have to love him less for not capitalizing!!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Bob Bryar just updated their blog saying they are coming out of MCR hibernation, but he still has a few months before he can play again

I just saw that! And he gave his XBox Live gamertag because he wants people to play Halo with him. Yes, I am very tempted to ask Pete to play Halo against Bob Bryar.

You should.

1)It's part of Bob's therapy. The more Pete plays Halo with Bob the sooner we get them back.

2) Cass would flap her hands so hard she would fly.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

BOB! HALO! (Is it bad that I'm tempted to get an XBox & Halo just so I can play? It is. I know it.)

I feel kind of bad that I skipped FTSK, but dude, I had to get my drink on! The bar was detatched from the stage area! I needed a break from the teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeens.

The Fillmore is awesome for this kind of show, because the bar is right next to the floor, so you can be separated from the teenies and still see. Also, the top of the bar is right next to where the musicians come out on to the floor (if they so choose), so I got to tell the guitarist from Hit The Lights that I liked his set. I tried to tell Jonathan from FTSK that, too, but he was mobbed the second he walked out. HTL was much more skippable - that's when megan and I went to the bathroom (along with most of the other 30-and-over people there) and got merch.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Guess who had dinner with Corwood last night, beeyotches? Oh yeah, you all should be way jealous.

It was great fun and some other cool folk were there too. We got to drive Cor back to his hotel after dinner and he and the DH geeked out in a thoroughly delightful way over guitars. There was much talk about tone and vintage amps and humbuckers. When we got home, the DH said to me, "If he lived around here, we would SO be hanging out."
