Hmmm, Mary Timony has a scary song about an owl too.
"Black Wings" is not one of them, Cor! The black wings are on the spaghetti western dude he's singing about. It's basically a "Red Right Hand" tribute song.

Raven/crow songs, hmm. There's "Crow Jane" from Nick Cave's Murder Ballads. juliana, do you have that album? Also, Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer's "I Go Like the Raven", about a raven-goddess archetype. I'll send it off to buffistarawk now.
