...I'll just ask now: Buffistarawk? Who is it and why everyone talk about him?
Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Shir,
I'm sending buffistarawk info to your profile addy.
Thank you!
The first rule of Buffistarawk.... :-)
That exactly what I was thinking every time I wanted to ask this question in the past, Theodosia.
But then I remembered the times when I didn't want to ask if prolly means probably, and then confusion came, and you know, confusion and me just don't get along very well. I panic easily and he loves to give me a good scare.
I can haz too?
::goes to make some soap::
That's some kind of timely.
Truly 'tis.
So, I'm going to go see Mindless Self Indulgence on Friday. I'm more than a little excited - from all accounts, their live show is made of awesome and kickass.
So, I've got a temp job this week. I was trained by a smart interesting guy who's on vacation for a week. Turned out he's a musician.
This happens a lot in San Francisco. Probably other cities too.
Also, the guy who wrote the 33 1/3 book on Throbbing Gristle is a friend of his. Also the guy who did a documentary on Robert Moog.
Low scheduled a show in Israel, one of the 9 on their world tour this summer, on September 11th.
This brings up three questions to mind:
1. Who told all those bands about Tel Aviv? We're reaching the "bands I never even dreamed seeing live" section of my album collection.
2. The "bad sound and treatment venue" Barby. Oh. Why. The. Fuck. You don't wanna play there.
3. My kidney. How much do I feel attached to it?
Edit: grammar. You know, the lack of it.
Since a lot of my overseas friends loved this guy, I wanted to post about him here too.
