I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ooo, excellent point. Still, your pipes are way better than mine.

Not a necessity at karaoke. All that is required at karaoke is a willingness to sell the shit out of it. This, you can do.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Thanks again, y'all!

I mentioned in Movies that I watched I'm Not There yesterday, and just wanted to specifically mention here that it reminds me a lot of David's book on Swordfishtrombones. I mean, it's a mythographic study of an artist's work. And it's awesome.

I want to thank everyone once again for their suggestions and for sending car/road songs. At this point I don't think I can get this playlist down to my standard of 50 (currently at 75). Oh my diamond shoes!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Happy Corwood Day!!!

Heh. That's funny, Cor. Not to flatter myself, but when I read about I'm Not There (especially interviews with Todd Haynes) I thought it was a very similar approach to what I did with the book. I haven't seen it yet, though I'm eager to check it out.

The UPS Man just brought me my advance copies of Continuum's 33 1/3 Book No. 58: Richard and Linda Thompson's Shoot Out The Lights by some joker named Hayden Childs.

Hayden Childs.

A very unlikely name. I doubt this person really exists.
