Likewise, the title of Seven Minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen) CRACKS ME UP. I mean, come on! Brilliant!

Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
The story about Wentz's overdose is true. He was battling depression, and playing fast and loose with his medications, and he took an overdose of Ativan while sitting in his sister's car in a Best Buy parking lot. Before he lost consciousness he called his manager, who called his mom, and they went and picked him up and took him to the hospital.
Pete really is Boy Tori, isn't he? Bless his boots.
Is it wrong of me to think that this is HILARIOUS?! (Knowing he survived obviously.) sheesh!
Pete Wentz seems to be equal parts narcissist, exhibitionist, dope, business mogul and lyrical savant. It's probably almost always reasonable to chuckle at him.
That cracks me up, too, Amy! Atavan Halen!

The other thing that never fails to crack me up is the misheard lyric from Arms Race 'I'm a little man, and I'm also evil, also into cats, also into cats!' Every time I think about it, I laugh!

There are an awful lot of videos where they and their freinds end up in animal costumes. Those may well be the secret actual lyrics, trufax.
I have trouble remembering the actual lyrics most of the time.
Steph, I would say that they're pretty sincere about TBP, but also self-aware enough to recognize it as totally over the top. The stage shows for it had fire and tickertape, for crying out loud.
Don't forget the hospital bed and IV drip.
I think they as a band are totally self-aware of how over-the-top they go (football jackets and gym shorts in Texas, anyone?), but they also enjoy that part. Partially as a way to communicate, and partially as a freeing act, both for themselves and for their fans.
Just for references sake, from Wikipedia:
To take the piss is a British slang expression meaning to tease or ridicule.
My bad.
I'm a dumbass and didn't mean to insult MCR or their fans.
I just meant that they don't seem to take themselves deadly seriously, like grim joyless humor-devoid assmunches, whatever slang phrase applies to that. (Probably something like, "Being Teppy.")
