Chatty!co-worker is the kind of person who likes to act soooooooo superior because *he* knows information that 99% of the population doesn't know (or give a damn) about. So once, in discussing music, I said something about The Doves, and he replied with, "Do you mean Doves, or THE Doves? They're 2 totally different bands, and only one is any good," blah blah blah.
I got really annoyed and snarked back something about how if recognizing a band is dependent on a definite article in front of its one-syllable name, maybe they should consider a new name.
His reply? "Don't get nasty with me just because you can't keep straight which band is which."
I hate that superior I-know-more-than-you bullshit that implies you suck if you don't possess the same encyclopedic knowledge of useless trivia that the other person does.
(Don't get me wrong; I have a VAST repository of useless trivia in my brain, but I don't sneer at people who don't know that there was more than one Robin, for instance. That shit is just rude and poorly socialized.)

Chatty!Co-Worker needs to find the vast universe of anonymously-commented on blogs and online message boards, where one can do this at will for little to no stakes. ISTG, I am doing it right now, AIFG!

How much do I love this? A WHOLE LOT!!
But then they will cry!
What does that sound like?
Like Prince and his girlfriend and or parents screaming.
Music search, my Buffistas--Does Evanescence have another album other than Fallen, one that isn't just remixes of everything on Fallen?
Anywhere But Home was released in '04, and The Open Door was released in '06, both on Wind-Up Records.
I find it interesting that Media Player classifies them as Metal, so they end up filed next to Hubby's Viking Death Metal bands (Amon something or other).

Your cat is in a Viking Death Metal band? He's very talented!
