"Sugar, We're Going Down" is so good. I can send you a few more if you want. You might like "Seven Minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen)," too.
You'll probably like the earlier MCR stuff, as well, Tep. I don't know if anyone sent you any of that, but I can if you want.
No Panic love?
No Panic love?
I haven't gotten to them beyond the 2 you sent me, which were catchy. I need to check them out a little more thoroughly.
And -- send me whatever you think I'd like. Thanks!!!

Am I crazy for seeing the similarity to the lead singer of MCR?
No, you're right! And I see a pretty sj in that first picture!
Will send more music shortly.
::pretends not to bounce like a complete dork that I KNEW you would like "Sugar, We're Going Down"::
Nope, Steph, not at all. But it makes me feel like a dirty old woman to think that. So I repress it. But Nick can totally give a pre-Gerard vibe.

What Cass said. I'm already borderline wigged out because Gerard is 9 years younger than me.
Which reminds me, welcome to bandom: the pros & cons of being an adult who likes these bands:
There's the sinking realization that you're not only old enough to be a parent to half the fanbase, but, in some cases, members of the bands. Of course, this means that at all-ages shows, you can go stand in the bar section and have a clear view of the stage.
There's the ever-growing mild embarrassment at the antics of the younger fans. Screaming "Marry me!" (or other things), stampeding and mobbing the band? Not Cool. The band members are human, and don't want to be swarmed.
There's the knee-jerk defensiveness you might develop when you mention you're a fan of one of these bands. People will mock you for listening to teeny music. People who have probably never listened to anything by the bands will make insulting and derisive comments about how they know the bands suck. Whatever. The energy and enthusiasm I have experienced at MCR shows is amazing.
"Dance Dance" did not, in fact, make me want to dance.
Aw, I love "Dance, Dance." I think that was the first song that made me really like Fall Out Boy, even though I'd heard a couple songs before.
There's a superficial resemblence between GWay and Nick, granted. But these two have always looked alike to me.
And then of course there's this pair.
Oops. My lurk lapsed.
Hmmm. From random purchases I actually listen to about half of these bands. Now I need to make some more purchases. Clearly I need more music.
Clearly I need more music.
When is that ever in doubt for you?
For people interested in checking out MCR, I would recommend going to their official website, because the website has a streaming player that runs through the entire Black Parade album.
