Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Random facts of the day:

1. Milo posted again, defending himself and using language to describe Hec's writing that (a) is totally inaccurate and (b) makes me want to gut Milo like a fish. I feel this desire is not really conducive to a proper Lenten or Valentinian frame of mind, for which I feel some shame, but, really, I blame Milo.

2. I have finally, finally started reading the draft Corwood so kindly sent me of his own book and, thus far? Awesome. Dark, but awesome. Which seems quite appropriate, given the subject matter.

Aw, thanks! I'm going to go see what dumb ol' Milo has to say today.

I'm working on a review of Hec's book for my blog, but I didn't feel sharp enough to finish it today.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Does anyone here have an mp3 of the Firefly Theme?

I have several variations.

eta: They're up.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Hee! I just walked in the other office where one of my underlings is working on inventory and she's got the music video for Hank Williams Jr, "The Country Boy Will Survive" playing. I was too amused to tell her to get back to work.

Corwood!!! Thanks so much for the baby tunes!!! It's kind of perfect timing as my both of my brothers have had babies since the start of the year and my main toddler friends are just about to turn two!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Think you've had a bad day?

Gracias dcp. I'm DJing a skiffy convention next weekend and someone was requesting it for some such or another and who was I to say no?
