Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hec's book arrived yesterday! We have been listening to a lot of Mr. Waits in order to properly prep for reading it.

Saw U2 3D last night on the IMAX screen and I totally dug it. It really is like having the best seat at a concert--a seat which swoops over the drums, right up to Bono and all over the venue--in crisp, perfect detail. The 3D is used in some cool and non-gimmicky ways too, like overlaying one image over another. Go! See!

Whee! I like a reader that does their homework.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

That's just neat.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Is there any way to rip the music from the vid? That has to go into my outrageous covers playlist....

I never thought I'd say it, but that one guy was really rocking out on the samisen.

If you figure it out, let me know, Theo. I couldn't get any of the usual Firefox add-ins to work. :(

As it turns out, it's dead easy. Just look in your browser's cache directory. You're looking for a file that is exactly 11,060,795 bytes, or 10,802 kilobytes, in size. If your browser retains the file extension (such as Opera does) then it is a .flv file, which MediaPlayerClassic can play on Windows.

Oh, and thanks for the tip Jimi. I found the flv file and converted it to mp3 via a free tool I found on the web.
