There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
RIP, Teresa Brewer. Of course, this will not stop me from trying to name a Music thread with a lyric from "Music! Music! Music"
I've listened to the album by Drug Rug a few times, and it's really grown on me. (It's available on eMusic.) My fave songs so far: "Lie Lie Lie" and "Alright."
The new Fiery Furnaces has also grown on me (so I really regret not getting familiar with it before the show).
I just played Drug Rug on the radio this morning!
Yay!
Which song?

I am somewhat relieved and greatly amused to see that the same mistake has been made in a far more public arena: [link] (via BoingBoing)
Rock stars attempting their own Jazz Odyssey:
- Eric Clapton
- Carlos Santana (I love the guy playing the artillery shell)
- Eddie Van Halen (at least he's in tune with the keyboard... I think -- see my previous post)
