Sorry, I got to run, but if you go to iTunes preferences under the edit menu, and select "advanced" tab, you'll see what directory your songs are in. Go to that folder using explorer and you should be able to tell.
The reason I ask is because mp3 files have the song/album/etc. info embedded in the file itself. If you copy the file onto another computer, iTunes will pick up the info from the file. For some other formats, like .wav files, the info is in the iTunes database and copying the files over won't also copy the info.
OK, bye!
oh, they were burned onto the CD as an audio CD.
Major book-ma to you Hec - that would just rock if you got to write one. You must not be watching the OC anymore for surely you would have mentioned the hideous Neutral Milk Hotel cover that closed last night's ep.

Matt Pond doing "In the Aeroplane over the Sea". It was just wrong.

Eeek. It's on TiVo we just haven't watched yet. And yet again, I say: "Eeek!"
Mute it. It's on during a montage anyway.
I pre-pitched Can's Future Days, Cardinal's s/t album, The Minutemen's Double Nickels On The Dime, and the Mekons' Fear and Whiskey for the 33 1/3 imprint. The editor said that the Minutemen album is the most likely candidate, but he suspected that it would be pitched by other writers (presumably more famous and/or accomplished). Still, I'm on the list for pitches.
Could I get a ruling on this review of the Arcade Fire show last week?
I think there's a good review that captures the Arcade Fire live experience well, but it's been painted over with SQUEE FANGIRL!!! emulsion.
Who was it that wanted acoustic hip-hop songs, again? Because some random Australian (Richard Clapton? I know him not) covers "Gangsta's Paradise" on one of those Andrew Denton Music Challenge CDs* and I could upload it to buffistarawk if necessary.
It is slightly marred by giggling towards the end of the track.
- What? I bought it because I needed to hear The Wiggles do "It's A Long Way to the Top" and yes, it's just as you would think it would be.
I am listening to
What's He Building in There,
the Waits song, and it's such an odd little novelty and seems as if a person could get tired of it--yet, I never do. The BF and I will both say "What's he BUILDing in there?" when we see a scary looking building with dark windows.

Well, more rap covers by non-rappers, but acoustic hip-hop works too.

From the sounds of his Allmusic listing, he was very influential in Australian rock but had less than zero impact in the US, except in his collaborations with INXS (and producing Underneath the Colours).
Yeah, upload it. I'm finding these rap covers are really short, so I'm having trouble filling an 80 minute CD.
