msbelle, that's a great dream!!! I love those guys. I saw them so many times when I was in grad school in NC it was like they were a local band.

Word count at 31,806. Raw book is finished. Some parts are squishy and undercooked. Imperfect. But fixable. Death to shameless, whoremongering adverbs! I should just disable the keys "l" and "y" to slow me down.
Will be sending it to publisher soon and begging for the chance to fix it by tomorrow no doubt.
I'll get one good editorial pass and then it's off to typesetting.
Too bleary and anxious to feel good yet.

I was able to tighten up my joke about Alice Munro and Motorhead.
