"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The 33 1/3 editor has asked for a drop-dead deadline four weeks hence. I'm suddenly covered in flop-sweat.

Race ya!

You'll do it. It'll be an imposition on Ms. Industries for a few weeks, but you'll borrow against family time over the month and maybe take a few days from work, but you'll get it.

Drop dead deadlines sharpen the mind wonderfully...

I'm still working my mind over the "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAARG" hump. But thanks for the words of encouragement. Mrs. Industries has committed to getting the clan out of my hair for a few hours every weekend between now and then.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Mrs. Industries has committed to getting the clan out of my hair for a few hours every weekend between now and then.

Oy! My sympathies to Mrs. Industries.

Also, in case you need another pair of eyes, I'm available to proof and copyedit and ruminate and such after Hec's ms. is done (not entirely selfless on my part; I'm hoping to eventually get paid to do that sort of stuff, so having a couple of actual published works to point to and say, "See? See those? I picked their nits!" wouldn't hurt).

Thanks, JZ! I would definitely appreciate another set of eyes. Also, I'll pass your sympathies to Mrs. Industries, who will certainly appreciate them.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Completely random question - is there any way to get the incidental music from Scooby Doo? (The original animated series.)

Hmmm, there have been some collections of Hanna Barbera underscore available. There was even a box set called Pic-a-Nik Basket. Not sure about Scooby Doo though.
