Is this where I link to Steve Albini's classic tome The Problem With Music?

Dear god, please don't. The current bf is obsessed with Steve Albini's message board. I hear about that guy's opinion on everything from tipping etiquette to the caveman vs. astronaut debate on a daily basis. I am officially tired of him.

But I've read the thing you linked to. At least it sounds like the members of the band are leading good lives now.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

If there's any sort of feature you'd like to see, let me know!
A way to search band names to find the latest show you played them on and thus their complete list of songs played. Is that possible?

Hey tina! I added a simple search form for my radio playlists. It probably still needs some tweaking, but it's live and available right now: [link]

Let me know if you have and problems with it, suggestions, etc.

Jon, this is awesomeness!

I did a quick search for "centro" "centro-matic" and "centromatic" to see how sensitive it was (not case sensitive but won't find bands if you only put in partial names - you gotta do the whole thing).

but I did find this:

[link]

all the others are with the hyphen.

This is *kinda* what I do for a living (content management) so I will be sure to tell you if I find anything odd - tell me if you don't care (though bless you, I know you do) and I'll stop.

Seriously. I have a ton of work to do tonight and this is going to cause major distraction. Fun!

Chicagoistas - hurry home and shut your windows! It just started POURING on the far north side.

Thanks. I DO care. I'm constantly finding crap like that and fixing it.

You saw the drop-down thingie where you can choose to find entries that start with or contain a string, right?

Also, I made it insensitive to whether band names start with a "the" or not. I am quite pleased with myself about that one.

Oh man! And you can search by song title, too. Even more awesomeness!

I did not! But now I do. Good job, Jon.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Miranda July's playlist for the NY times

I know the Peter Bjorn and John song "Young Folks." I have not even vaguely heard of any of those other people.

Or I could sit here and enjoy my Great Northern CD.

Is that the one with "City of Sleep" on it? I liked that song.
