Just a little followup from a while ago...
You Can't Buy a Gun When You're Crying
(the new album by Holly Golightly & The Brokeoffs) is my current obsession album.

It'd be the album most often in my CD player these days, if I had gotten it on CD and if I used a CD player....
I'm a big fan of Holly Golightly's album Truly She Is None Other which contains the song "There is An End" (featured at the beginning of Jarmusch's
Broken Flowers).

That album also has really grown on me....
Holly Golightly tours the states constantly, it seems. She's definitely worth a night out.
I bought one of these: [link] In gold.
Ooh, Corwood. Sweet.
BTW, my DH is here [link] today on a road trip with two old friends. Tomorrow they head off to this: [link]
It's a weekend of dude stuff.
My DH is off on a road trip with his friend DC this weekend. They do baseball and call themselves "Two Guys and a Map." Their travels are documented on their website. I occasionally do ballparks, but mostly I prefer to hang with the dogs. We do occasionally do music trips. We're thinking that we need to check out the Allman Brothers Band at the Beacon Theater next time around. Saw them at Nissan Pavillion the other night and they were great.
OK, wtf: Lyrics, female artist, fairly recent: Your love is the killing kind/time something like that.
Driving me batshit. Can't find it in the playlists cause I don't pay attention. KT Tunstall/Kathleen Edwardsish, but not. Org.
Shelby Lynne off the Bridget Jones soundtrack, I think.
Cool bass, Cor! Totally space age.
